Paul Chapman Executive Director, Nanaimo and Area Land Trust
Paul started with NALT in 2008 as part of a crew building the greenhouse at the Natural Abundance Native Plant Nursery and on Mount Benson establishing trails and restoring some previously logged sites. With the support and mentorship of many NALT stalwarts, Paul has filled many roles with the organization Nanaimo & Area Land Trust including his current position as Executive Director.

Tim Ennis Executive Director, Comox Valley Land Trust
Tim is a Conservation Biologist with over 20 years of experience working in the Land Trust sector in BC. In addition to operating a private consulting company, Tim is the Executive Director of the Comox Valley Land Trust. He has many nature-based interests and recreational pursuits, but is currently obsessed with studying the bats of Vancouver Island.

Cathy Armstrong Executive Director, TLC The Land Conservancy
Cathy has an eclectic background, with experience as a realtor, restaurant owner, travel agent and administrator in the Office of the Solicitor General. She was also an elected school trustee in Abbotsford for 12 years. Cathy was born in Abbotsford, BC and raised her two children there. She currently lives on the lower mainland. Cathy has a Bachelor of Science from UBC. These varied experiences prepared Cathy to assist TLC navigate a difficult time as it concluded the CCAA process. Her skills in conflict resolution, problem solving, creative thinking, leadership and team building were all required to bring this process to conclusion. She has been with TLC since May 2014.

Retired biologist/forester/lawyer who volunteers time with various environmentally-concerned non-government organizations.

Frank Arnold Investment Advisor, Raymond James
Frank returns to the LTABC Board. He has served as President and Treasurer and has been a Board member of Habitat Acquisition Trust and Dogwood. Frank is Vice President at Generational Wealth Management, Raymond James.

Leanna Warman Conservation Ecologist, The Nature Trust of British Columbia
Leanna has over 25 years of education and experience in the fields of ecology and conservation planning and has worked on various conservation projects throughout BC. Prior to joining The Nature Trust of British Columbia in 2006, she was a Research Associate at the University of British Columbia, where much of her work focused on the rare species and ecosystems found in the South Okanagan. Leanna enjoys spending time in nature and exploring BC’s coastline by kayak with her family.

Paul McNair, BPR MA Executive Director
Paul is a native of Halifax and has served as Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, AIDS Nova Scotia and the Parkinson Society Maritime Region. He has sat as a director of more than thirty organizations including Dance Victoria and the Greater Victoria Public Library. He was awarded Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2006. Paul has visited more than 30 countries including Peru’s Amazon Rainforest, Jordan’s Wadi Rum Desert and China’s Great Wall.

Denise Nicholls Outreach Coordinator
Denise has an extensive background in Graphic Design and is an avid supporter of Victoria art and artists. In addition to the work that she has done with LTABC, she has organized several art events in her beloved Chinatown neighbourhood, and creates and promotes her own art creations. Any spare time finds her enjoying Vancouver Island’s natural beauty.
